i think if enough of us report the item to ebay action would be taken!
Too bad you have to register to report the item... As you say though, the more people who report it, the better, surely?

I have messaged the seller, if it is still on there tomorrow I will get it removed.
i emailed the seller again telling him that this is a safety critical item and he has replyd saying that he has this item and 1 more that is identicle and he is going to put the next 1 up after this item has ended
Don't report it as stolen goods, report it as a banned item, then it gets viewed by ebay rather than asking you contact the police.
As Daniel says, it needs reporting to eBay, not to the police. It doesn't matter reason is given, if enough people report it, eBay will notice.
