Sad passing of WCRC fireman

Apologies if this has been noted elsewhere, but WCRC have sadly had to tweet that fireman Mike Middleton was taken ill on 1Z34 last night near Garsdale and passed away.

How sad. I actually happened to be on West Coast Railway’s Jacobite yesterday, albeit for a short time, and they’re a lovely team. I am sorry for his friends and family.
