Sad news from C2C

It appears that a C2C driver has sadly died last night whilst working a train. Thoughts with all involved last night, the poor driver's family and colleagues.

Regrettably, this is sadly the case. Our thoughts are with the drivers' family and colleagues.

Whilst not the first thought in incidents such as this, we are reminded of the value of the DSD in bringing the train to a safe halt.

I was meaning headcode, but found it anyway... Seems RTT clocked it entering Barking 100L - so I presume Delay Repay eligable?

Again, its very sad news to hear of a driver death - you don't hear about it that often

As an addendum (not wanting to turn this thread into a discussion) I would like to think that if any delay repay was available that on this sad occasion the passengers would be happy/see it as a good gesture to forfeit their claim and instead the money going to the affected family.
