S stock announcements.

Yesterday i was on the 21:28 Wimbledon to Edgware Road 21:59 service which was formed of S7 stock unit number 21413 - 22413 - 24413 - 24414 - 23414 - 22414 - 21414 which still had the old Phil Sayer "please mind the gap between the train and the platform" announcements instead of the new Matt version of the announcements (which i thought had completely taken over on all trains). Every S stock train that i have been on over the past year (maybe even the past two years) has always had Matt instead of Phil Sayer. Did TFL just forget to change the announcements in this unit? Does anyone know are there any other units that still have Phil Sayer announcements as well? I hope they keep Phil Sayer 's announcements in this unit.

Yesterday evening i found another S stock unit with the old Phil Sayer announcements instead of the new Matt announcements. It was unit number 24189 - 24289 - 24489 - 24490 - 24390 - 24290 - 24190 which also has them.

That formation doesn't exist; do you mean 21489/90?

Sorry yes that is exactly what i meant. Thank you for the correction. That matches my notes that i wrote down. I just typed it up wrongly.

Just to correct myself Dan Akers is actually the new male voice that replaced Phil Sayer as TFL have confirmed in an FOI.

So it is not actually Matt but they do both sound very similar.
