Hi! Didn't know where to put this. Can somebody check this out? I remember reading that somebody worked with the Glasgow stations CCTV.

On a train on the way to Cambuslang around 9:30am. Sitting at Platform 2 at Rutherglen station. I look over to Platform 1 and see this guy with a big camera just casually walking past the "Don't Pass Here" signs beside the exit\entrance doors. It was a busy time too. Anybody check this out? Thanks!

Did you mention this to staff "on the ground", if it was possible? They would obviously be able to contact the relevant people and deal with it as effectively as possible.

I was on the train on the opposite platform. I had seen the guy before. He seems to hang around the side entrance where all the goods trains dart through. Always got a ton of books.

Presumably, he is an enthusiast - if he's doing that and doesn't seem to look like he's identified as staff/an authorised person, I'd be inclined to say he's probably not an official photographer or something like that. As above, I do suggest you talk to the nearest member of staff you can find if you see him breaking safety rules or byelaws - it's just for his own good, really, and you could well prevent an accident of some sort. If he has access to private areas of railway premises, I would imagine a local manager would have informed staff and they won't take it any further!
