Northenden Junction box diagram
One of the older style diagrams still around, with evidence of past infrastructure erasings by the S&T following alterations. The line to Edgeley No.1 is worked by Acceptance Levers and the lights in the top left of the diagram indicate whether a train has been accepted at either Edgeley or Northenden.
Still to be removed from the current set up are the now disconnected Blue Circle cement sidings ("Station Sidings Ground Frame") and reference to lever no.15 (and the little detonator insignia) that used to indicate the location of the box detonator placers.
