What are the minimum specs to run Railworks ? On railworks2 you need a 1.7 ghz processor which wont run, with my 1.66 ghz processor.

Will the original run called Railworks?

The difference between 1.66Ghz and 1.7Ghz is hardly anything. It could still work.

I recall running that on my laptop and it failed the test...but runs fine. That is a 2GHz dual core (not that the dual core bit matters in this) and 2GB RAM. Also has integrated graphics.

Just don't expect to be able to run at the shiniest graphics and you may well be OK

Hang fire.

If you get Railworks or Railworks 2, you will be automatically upgraded to the new version, RW3/TS2012. The specs have increased dramatically and using that old test has no relevance any more.

I'm finding this out - upgraded to RW3 and now get loads of errors. Need to take a proper look at some point to find out what is going on. A quick mooch round last night suggests graphics :(

Have a look on UKTS, there are plenty of suggestions appearing for various graphics cards/systems to get the best from what you have.

It isn't just a case of getting the best, it is getting it working...everytime I try and start it I get loads of errors and it won't play. They broke it :(

It is because I have an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 I think - it only supports Pixel Shader 2 and I can't get it to run at all :(
