Well, after nearly 2 months of predominately crap weather, I've been out this afternoon in a little bit of sun.

Newly reliveried 90049 was on 4M87 - http://www.ferret.fotopic.net/p66748710.html Why are there never any containers at the front?!

Very nice. At least you got something in sun today. I was at Hademore for the 90 but as it was late and not overly bright I gave up a came home.

Matt - what I forgot to mention was the 66 was in the luckiest patch of sun ever (a block of cloud randomly broke for all of 2 minutes), and the 90 was in sun only because it ran 30 late! About time my luck turned, but I'd rather have nailed that 60 we saw at Barrow. As it is, I'm not at all happy with that shot:cry:

Rugeley is a personal favourite spot of mine, got a pic of 70003 in Rail Express 170 from there.

Cheers - it's not a bad spot, but I find the angle a bit tight with them on the slow lines. If only they could get some class 4s out on the fast!

I too visited Rugeley for the first time yesterday, although only for one hour, after visiting Rugby for just over two hours

Even in that short one hour spell, at least six freight trains
