Rugby to Carlisle

I'm planning on going up to Carlisle in a few weeks, most likely on Sunday 30th January. To avoid the awful Voyagers and to get on my favourite class I'm intending on travelling from Rugby as from what I've heard Voyagers don't operate the Euston-Glasgow route very often? Does anyone know if Voyagers are scheduled to operate any of these services, and as first class is only £10 more, will the morning services be busy?

Oh no wait - Sunday; 1008, 1108, 1208? Or it could just be two now, I can't quite remember. But yes they'll be 390s not SuperVoyagers.

Ah that's good. Yeah I noticed that only the first train of the day on the saturday stopped at Carlisle. Do you know how busy the morning services will be?

Not very until Preston. If you're planning a return trip, make sure you come back on the weekend. Weekdays, only the very first and last trains of the day stop at Rugby, and they all stop at Carlisle going Up.

I meant - come back on a weekend! That way plenty of choice tween Rugby and Carlisle.
