Rug-ex's Tomorrow

Due to Cardiff hosting the Rugby tomorrow and specials coming in from London (which I'm aiming to phot at Swindon) does anyone know what will be running them?

Arriva TW are sending out the WAG on 1V41 tomorrow (0625 off Holyhead) and back on 1W91 (2120 off Cardiff)

First GW have a special running from London - Cardiff as 1Z31/32 which has rumoured 47's?

1Z31 and 32 are timed as HSTs, so that is what should turn up, 47s can't match those timings.

I wouldnt imagine 47's as all day MK3's with FGW are for HST sets. I doubt they would hire in a rake for it (unfortunately)

I've found a "freight" on Realtime Trains that looks rather passenger friendly:

• 1137 Paddington - Cardiff Central 75mph, 455 tonne load
• 1458 Cardiff Central - Margam 95mph, 455 tonne load
• 1820 Margam - Cardiff Central 95mph, 455 tonne load
• 1913 Cardiff Central - Waterloo 75mph, 455 tonne load

The 1137 Paddington - Cardiff is the one i'm talking about which returns to Waterloo at 1913, both call at Swindon... rumoured to be MK2's?

Could this be ATW Mk2s with a FGW Class 57/or ATW 67?

All the Great Western reliefs are HSTs, loco hauled stuff is private charters.

The WAG is off Holyhead at 0807.

The WAG this evening is a unit tonight so it seems unlikely that the Ruggex tomorrow will be a skip.

Probably the WAG did not run down as far as Cardiff this morning due to serious disruption caused by a freight train failure in the Craven Arms area

It was due to a DVT fault.

The WAG is currently running empty from Canton - Chester and it'll take over 1V41 0807 Holyhead - Cardiff from there.
