RTV and PlusBus

Morning all. Simple question really: got a rail travel voucher to use and I'll need PlusBus for two days next week when commuting, will I be alright using the voucher to pay for standalone PlusBus when I arrive at my destination?

I've already purchased the train tickets for the respective journeys, to clarify.

Imagine they are perfectly valid for this purpose but can anyone confirm?

This may be a problem for you, depending on the value of the voucher.

I have a standard Rail Travel Voucher, and printed on the back it says "...not exchangeable for cash nor can change be given". So unless you are buying additional rail tickets at the same time or the amount of change is so small you don't care about it, you may wish to think again.

@Sleeper , yeah a good point. In this case (we're talking high finance!) the RTV is worth ~£4.50 and my PlusBus tickets will be about £5, so was hoping I could get rid of them and just pay the difference. I don't know when I'd get rid of them otherwise as 99 times out of 100 I buy tickets online due to TPE's special online only deals.

But yeah, worth keeping in mind for others that one can't (and shouldn't) expect change from an RTV if they have an outstanding value after the purchase.

Can confirm from this morning that this was no issue at all! Good way to get rid of the RTVs in my case.
