Please move this thread if in the wrong place.

My partner lives with me, but we aren't married. I'm a bit confused with the application process for the partner pass... We have bills in both our names, tenancy agreement, etc... Do I just need three bills/statements from three different companies in both our names? IE, bank, water and gas/electric....

Once I take it to a solicitor to stamp and sign, do I send it via post or via email with a passport style photo?

We have a baby due in a few days, so wondering if we'll need to sort her pass out too or do we wait until she's five.

Many thanks.

I’d recommend just emailing them on rst@raildeliverygroup.com and they’ll talk you though the process.

You won’t need anything for the baby for five years, which is a blessing considering how often you’d need to update the photo ID otherwise!

You can use just one bill for both of you if it has both your names on it, so you need between 3 to 6 bills depends on how many you've got with both names on.

Once you get it stamped by solicitor, scan or take pics of the form and send it over to them from your email.

Three bills/statements each that show the same address (can be the same three if the bills have both names, or different).

Once the solicitor has stamped/signed, scan a copy of the completed partner declaration form. On the RST website under forms there's one to add a spouse/partner, fill in their details, and attach the scanned completed partner declaration form. You also upload the passport style photo here.

The three bills/statements only need to be seen by the solicitor prior to them signing the partner declaration form, RST only need to see that signed form.

I second emailing them, they’re actually really helpful and respond quickly. Same with ringing them.

Last time I emailed them it took them two weeks to reply... I've not had much luck when contacting them directly.

So the main thing for RST is seeing that the form has been stamped and signed by a solicitor?

Strange. They’re extremely responsive to me, whether it be my monthly priv season ticket approval request or issues with passes. Their phone line is particularly good, never any queues and they sort anything within a few minutes.

Yep, it's only the solicitor who needs to see the proofs of address. The completed partner declaration form signed by the solicitor is all RST need.
