As well as the several steam locomotives there are the following, all available from the above mentioned www.uktrainsim.com

Class 58
Class 86
Class 317
Class 35
EMD F40PH
EMD GEEP

Also the above mentioned Class 25 from Digital Traction.

There are also many variations of wagons and then multiple reskins of everything mentioned above.

Class 25 sounds recomended, its miles better with them

They both use Spoon sound and cabs, and you are quite right the Rat has an optional addon sound pack somewhere. The original site that hosted it is down now so I dont know where you would get it. I used it a while back and it was Hellfire.

Re the Hymek, there IS a new version out now with new sounds, but I think thats Railworks only. After buying Sly Class 45, I can recommend its a worthwhile step up for any diesel fan.

To download anything on UKTS, you have to sign up for an account. Its totally free, though if you buy a subscription you can download things much quicker.

After its downloaded, you use put the file on the desktop out of the RAR folder, then install it using the asset editor.

The instruction usually tell you who the developer is, so you click the little arrow on the left in the scenario edtior and tick that asset creators box. The locomotive will then be available to use.

All the details you will be able to find in the accompanying PDF, and there are some guides you can download on UKTS as well.
