The current fare from Belfast to Portrush and return on the Portrush Flyer is £22 which, for about 4 hours of steam haulage, makes it very good value.

Been on a few RPSI trips. Always excellent value with a good fun crowd of 'normals' on board. Feels more like the tours you get in Italy or Germany. Highly recommend.

Was on today's Flyer, from Belfast to Portrush and the Coleraine hop only. (I live in Portrush, it wasn't a good sell to go back South!) Really impressed with the trip personally - great comfortable seats, some excellent droplight opportunities (though seemingly few takers!), staff and bar were wonderful, toilets were a pleasure to use (especially compared to some MK1s at heritage operations), and I could go on. Haven't been on an RPSI trip since I was a kid but would love to have another one as soon as I can!
