What are the plans in place for operators to run extra services tommorow?

Not planning to go, just trying to see who is running extra trains..

I have found out these companies are :

FGW
Southeastern
Southern
South West Trains

Anymore?

I imagine FCC might up their services to Kings Cross. You'll probably be able to find out more by checking the websites.

I think only the former NSE area is going to have the additional traffic to justify extra services!

FCC are running a Saturday service with through trains on the tl side.

Most routes can absorb extra traffic on weekends or bank holidays due to no 'peak' leaving much spare rolling stock. Most will just run 8v4 or 12v8 etc.

NXEA are doubling up their stock to 8 carriages from 4.

Just means they are not sitting on the sidings and making use of resources!

c2c are running a Saturday services, with 8-carriage trains on both the main through routes.

Southern are adding an extra London to Brighton (and return) hourly service tomorrow and extending other services in the London area.

SWT appear to be running full length trains on the Windsor side, including the usually 4 coach Weybridge via Brentford. I have the carriage to myself at the moment..

SWT is running all Windsor Line and Metro services as 8 cars rather than the normal 4.

The crowding was at street level rather than in the station. Green Park was exit only for part of the morning too, but that was it.

Overall a very quiet day on public transport in London!

One of my work colleagues lives in Islington and she said she was waking up early to get as far away from London as she possibly could!

Hyde Park Corner was much less busier than I thought it would be when I passed through there earlier, despite there being probably somewhere around half a million people in the park.

Saw a Southern 8 car on the 1400 Horsham-London Bridge, completley quiet, however this is the wrong time i suppose

NXEA run an modified sunday timetable on locals on bank holidays except for Norwich-Cambridge where too much confliction with other operators means an almost SX service runs.
