The Royal Scotsman is undertaking a round Gt.Britain tour from 8th to 15th July. Does anyone have any timings,particularly for York -Scarboro-York, please ?

Hi Barry 1948,

The Royal Scotsman will arrive into York at 22:27 on Wednesday 13th July for a 2 minute stop departing again at 22:29. She then arrives into Scarborough at 23:17.

On Thursday 14th July, she will depart Scarborough at 09:10 and arrives back into York at 10:05.

On Thursday morning at 0830 I saw 57001 with its Royal Scotsman headboard but minus coaches at Aviemore, I expect the coaches were on the preserved section.

Does anybody have timings for the Hereford-Bath leg run of this i believe on Tuesday 12th ,especially the pass time at Gloucester

Hi Paul,

We depart Hereford at 06:24 and travel through Gloucester at 08:12 and Gloucester Yard Junction at 08:14. We arrive in Bath Spa at 09:25.

Many thanks Orient Express for the info.Just got back from a few days holiday and I was able to catch up with it at York.

I am in Scotland for a few days , July27 to Aug 1st. Are you able to help with the whereabouts of the Royal Scotsman in this period, please ?
