So, the ticket wouldn't be valid if your service is unexpectedly subbed with a class 350 ?!![]()
Haha I meant the Bromsgrove line and Chase services

Something that has always stuck me as being odd (in a good way) is the Greater Manchester Wayfarer. A GMPTE product that also allows travel deep into the Derbyshire Peak District. Perhaps they thought that it would be a good thing for the citizens of Greater Manchester to escape the smokey city and spend some time in the countryside? There's no equivalent product for those on the other side of the Pennines. I'd introduce a South Yorkshire Wayfarer covering all the SYPTE area plus Sheffield to Chesterfield, Sheffield to New Mills, and New Mills to Buxton. I'd also include bus travel in the Peak District Plus Bus area.
Yes, because Vermin Trains threw a hissy fit at the very prospect.Speaking of the GM Wayfarer, it's valid at Wigan North Western, & Warrington Bank Quay, but not valid on the direct VT trains between those stations so you have to go through Manchester, yet GM Wayfarer is valid on VT in other parts of the validity area. Even the Cheshire & Lancashire day rangers are not valid on direct trains between Wigan North Western, & Warrington Bank Quay.
The Central Scotland, Glasgow Day Out and Edinburgh Day Out could do with a few rethinks. Offer single day variant of all three, even at a premium. Either make the central Scotland one cover the full range of the Glasgow and Edinburgh ones or allow at least one return between the cities on each (probably have to change the first one else the day outs may be too good). I would also allow Railcards for the day outs, especially without a connection between the cities.
Oh and on the Grand Tour of Scotland add an exemption to get to and on the first WHL train from either Glasgow or Edinburgh. (Even with rail cards).
I can dream.
