Have just purchased a flexi rover for use next week and have entered the first date box ready for its first use on Monday. Took special care to write neatly, then realised I had inadvertantly used blue ink when it should (according to one line I managed to find on the NR website) be black. Will any officious officials have issue with this? I hope not.

Also, as I know which days we are travelling next week, which are fixed, can I complete all four date boxes in advance, or should I just do each day one at a time when used?
Having read a previous thread about nit picking RPIs etc I dont want to fall foul of any of them especially based on the reputation of one of the TOCs involved!

As long as it's clear and permanent, there won't be an issue.

No reason you can't fill it out in advance, but if something unforseen does come up and you need to change your dates of travel you'll have a problem. Personally I would do it a day at a time.

Thank you very much, thats really helpful and is what I was expecting someone to say.
Having run into a number of issues booking this trip, particularly in terms of reserving a wheelchair space, we dont really want to encounter anything else!

I would advise against completing the date boxes in advance, and would recommend you only do that on the day of travel when you know that trains are actually running.

Thanks, thats what I thought, mind you the dates wont change as we are only in the area Monday to Friday, and with no trains running Thursday (so we are going out by bus instead) then that leaves just Mon, Tue, Wed and Fri
