Hello!

I am going to Penrith from Euston, then to Manchester then from Manchester back to Euston. Do you know if I can use the return portion of my Euston- Penrith ticket to get on at Manchester and return to Euston?

I was thinking of buying a return to Penrith and a single from Penrith to Manchester to do this journey. Would this work?

Thanks so much!

Provided your travel times fit an off peak return to Penrith at £98 will cover the whole trip. Break of journey is permitted on the return journey at Manchester - overnight or longer if you like.

Thanks very much. Yes all journeys are off peak.

What amazes me is that the Virgin call centre can't tell me the answer to this, but I know that people on here always know what to do!

You see, we know, most of the time, where to look and how to read!

Anyway, just make sure that your journeys comply with this:

DEPART: LONDON EUSTON
Before 0430 and at or after
0905.

ARRIVE: LONDON EUSTON
Before 0430 and at or after
1005

No restrictions on Saturdays or Sundays and, obviously, on any day from Penrith to Manchester.
