Ever since the Nuneaton-to-Coventry line re-opened to passenger traffic several years ago, journeys from Nuneaton to London via that line have been allowed on "any permitted route" tickets. Even today, booking engines are offering this route.
However, this seems to be at odds with the Routeing Guide. Maps TV+WM or TV on its own are allowed, which don't include the NUN-COV line. And I can't find an easement to allow it.
Which makes me wonder if (a) a permitted route has been accidentally omitted from the published version of the Routeing Guide, and (b) where are the booking engines getting their rules from?
