Howdy,
Am travelling Warrington - Woking on Saturday, returning on Sunday late afternoon, on an off-peak return (16-25 discounted)
With it being a Bank Holiday weekend, the WCML is in something of a state of disarray, especially on the Sunday. I'm OK on my outward leg (WBQ-CRE-EUS-WAT-WOK), but coming back I'm gonna have to avoid the WCML if possible.
I'm aware that a permitted route London-Warrington is MM+PS (St Pancras - Sheffield, Sheffield - Warrington), which would probably be my first choice if possible.
However, the available routes listed for Woking - Warrington are:
LONDON, PD+CS, PD+CS+LC, PD+LC, PD+MA+GM, WX+CS and WX+CS+LC; which obviously doesn't include the preferred MM+PS route.
This is the first time I've tried to use the NRG through London, so can't quite work out what the LONDON route includes. Does that allow me to also use routes London - Warrington, or something else?
