Route/s for Nuneaton to Warwick, please

Hi all,

Can someone please tell me the route/s available for Nuneaton to Warwick, please.

Would the following be correct?
Nuneaton-Birmingham New Street then Birmingham Moor Street-Warwick
or
Nuneaton-Coventry-Leamington Spa-Warwick

I know that it takes me an hour to get to Coventry on the bus door to door and about the same by train, including the bus into Nuneaton and time between Nuneaton bus station and getting on the train at Nuneaton.
It takes 25 mins approx from NUN-BHM and I would guess Moor Street-Warwick would be about 20 mins perhaps? If I were to travel the entire journey by bus - an hour to Coventry and about 1 1/2 to 2 hour Coventry to Warwick on the bus I would guess.

As far as I know, I'm only looking for the station in the centre of Warwick, not Warwick Parkway, unless Parkway is easy walking distance to the centre of Warwick, like 10-15 minutes maximum.

The only one valid is Nuneaton - Birmingham - Tyseley (- Stratford-upon-Avon) - Warwick.

Nuneaton is a Routeing Point.
Warwick is a member of Warwick Group Routeing Point.
Nuneaton - Warwick Group is permitted by maps BP+WM or WM.
WM allows Nuneaton - Birmingham - Tyseley - (Solihull) - Warwick
and also Nuneaton - Birmingham - Tyseley - Stratford upon Avon - Warwick.
BP+WM does not add any additional mapped routes.
Surprisingly, Nuneaton - Coventry - Leamington Spa - Warwick is not a mapped route, but it is the shortest route and is therefore a permitted route.

The day return fare from Nuneaton - Warwick is £9-20 via Leamington. £13-20 any permitted plus your busfare into Muneaton.
If you are already travelling on a stagecoach bus into Nuneaton the "Dayridef Gold" (travel anywhere in Warwickshire, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Gloucestershire, Hampshire,Herefordshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, South Wales, Wiltshire, Worcestershire & West Midlands) is £7

Travelling back from Warwick by train usually entails a 55 min wait at Coventry as the Nuneaton train usually leaves just before the XC service from Leamington arrives.

I would use the bus (I do when I travel to Warwick from Bedworth)

Correction there is a25 minute wait at Coventry on the way back (xx20 - xx45) but there is a 50 minute wait on the way (xx35 - xx25)

Yeah, there is a 20 minute wait at Coventry. The Nuneaton service leaves at xx:45 and the XC arrive at xx:22.

Is this surprising though, because surely if this route is permitted due to the fact it is the shortest route there is no need for it to be listed within the mapped routes in the NRG?

Yes sorry I meant going to Warwick the XC leaves at xx25 at the Nuneaton train arrives at about xx35
