Route Randomiser

Once you have installed the BVE4 Route Randomiser, what do you do to get it to ''Randomise'' Routes?

AFAIK, it doesn't exactly 'randomise' routes as such, it basically does what openBVE's main menu does now, it gives you a choice of what stock to run on what route in BVE4, without the rigmarole of going through various files & making adjustments to what the default train is for a particular run on a route.

RR can also change the route you are taking to force you onto other tracks ... it is all in the settings in the box after you select the route file and the train.

Where can I find this setting box, is it in BVE?

If I rem rightly, as I havn't used RR for a long time, when you start RR, you should have on the main screen 2 windows, 1 for trains you have installed, & 1 for routes you have installed. You should also somewhere on the main screen have a link to options or settings. You'll find what you need in there. You should when you download RR & install it, have a help file somewhere in the installed folder, & it'll explain everything in there about setting it up & running it.

Ok, after having a search, luckily I still have it, albeit havn't used it in a long time. Ok, after selecting your route, & what train to yous, you then should come up with a box, called 'Starting Options'. This is where you basically adjust the settings according to what you want. All I can say is, read the manual, & fiddle with the settings to see what effect they have, it'll just be a case of trial & error Until you get some idea of what the different settings do. Have fun!

Ok, after selecting your route, & what train to yous, you then should come up with a box, called 'Starting Options'. This is where you basically adjust the settings according to what you want.

And I recommend "Strong effect" on signalling and "Randomize starter aspect". After that you can get some paintwork to watch while it dries and you wait for the danger signal to change...

No no, I have it downloaded, just how do I access it once it has been installed?

Ok, dep on where your BVE4 folder is in 'Program Files', go into 'Railway', then 'Object', then you should have a folder called 'BRR', go into there, & click on the program from there.
