London, Surrey... bit of a blur round here...
About a week ago, I dropped the work car off for it's MOT at a garage in Byfleet. Not having expected it to fail, the plan was for me to drive back, but instead it did fail and I had to catch the train.

The ticket I got was a 'Not Via London' one (or, as it was a new ticket, 'Not valid via London Terminals') and I changed at Wimbledon. Would, however, this ticket be valid via Guildford? (I have to go and collect the car at some point, so this would be an interesting little route!)

The answer appears to be yes. Byfleet & New Haw is a member of Weybridge group while Epsom is a valid routeing point for Ewell West. The only map combination is DK+SU. DK allows Epsom to Woking via Guildford and SU allows Weybridge to Woking.

In addition to Mike’s reply above, National Rail enquiries shows the journey with Guildford added as a “via point” for the same fare as normal...
