When it's nice weather - I last did it on a cold winters evening, when the racecourse area was muddy

Yeah, when it's nice weather I daresay it's a lot better but I did in late 2011 and it was not only cold but raining quite a bit, so by the time I reached Tatty Corner I was soaked!

No new coverage lately for me, just random micro-gricing like Orpington's platforms 7 and 8 (just need 1 and 6 there and that's all of them done at various times), and fasts to slows crossovers just east of Maryland (don't think I've done them before, but did them last night anyway) so nothing exciting lol. Don't know where my Quails are to mark this stuff off now

I did it back in Feb following instructions from Google Maps, bottom of my legs ended up a big muddy when it decided to tell me to walk across a grassy area to get to a footpath.

I think I'm just missing the Hampton Court branch line bridge of my quest to cross every railway crossing of the Thames

Did Kent last week, including HS1 and the west-north chord onto the Sheerness branch. (or should I say off as I did the evening service off the branch)

Also did a couple of missing bits in London that don't show on the map.

Not much red left now...

I did that on Maunday Thursday. Made a day of it so visited various pubs in Rochester, Gillingham, Sittingbourne and Sheerness.
Unfortunately the toilet on the 2132 ex Sheerness was locked so I was actually quite desperate to pass water while it went over the curve.

Did a Dover Priory to Ramsgate return today.

Bearing in mind I've lived in Dover all my life, that's the 1st time I've ever been past Deal on a train. I hadn't even been along the line to Deal for about 20 years before today.

I recently added new track coverage to my Baker, first time in ages too. North Harrow to Amersham, Chalfont and Latimer to Chesham, Moor Park to Watford and, the most irritating part of the Underground to get, Rickmansworth Curve :D This finally, after years of going to do it, only for something else to be done instead, got the London Underground network finished with! :D:D:D

Of course, I'll be zipping up and down the various lines for years to come still, getting the stations all visited and of course trying to get the various fleets all done!

Here is my meagre effort, I would like to cover some more this summer, but am not entirely sure what I shall do, so we shall see.

I see you have those annoying Greater Anglia branch lines, which are not covered by the Anglia Plus rover (but within the Network railcard zone) left to cover as well

Seems to be working now, not much left to cover

Here is mine. Most (actually all) is in Scotland and Northern England. I'm only 16 and haven't had a chance yet to explore the south

Here's my efforts over the years. Done a fair amount, but still plenty to go at!

I've updated mine after a North West 4/8 Rover last week, and also a few other bits in Lincolnshire.

Hopefully this time next week I would have completed the area covered by the Network railcard, apart from Oxford to Bicester (currently a bus) :)

Maybe a south pennines rover to get in the Manchester and Sheffield area stuff you still need and a West Yorkshire day rover for the Leeds stuff.

Latest coverage for me wouldn't be visible on the map really, so not updated it to post on here for now.

Hythe-Dungeness on the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway last Sunday (had a great time on that line, most enjoyable day out and I don't normally rate narrow gauge lines that highly)

Other than that, I got my last bits of PSUL lines on SET done recently:

Ashford International p1/2 to the Maidstone East line
Up Chatham Loop (connecting the line from St Mary Cray to the Up Fast at Chislehurst), that one that only gets done on two London-bound trains, Monday to Friday mornings, unless there's diversions on of course.

Leaves me with virtually no PSUL track to do now, the only ones I can remember off that list are Halton Curve and that curve on Sheffield Supertram. Oh and there's one on Metrolink too, so not bad all in!

Haven't done one of these in quite a while. New in this version:-

  • Neilston - Glasgow Central
  • Stafford - Manchester Piccadilly (via Stoke)
  • Worcester Shrub Hill - Cheltenham
  • Cheltenham - Bristol Parkway
  • Bristol Temple Meads - Taunton
  • Exeter St. Davids - Honiton
  • Cross City North
  • Lichfield TV - Rugby
  • Northampton Loop
  • Feltham - London Waterloo
  • Leicester - Syston

I have also removed some lines which I had erroneously added in the past

Still a tiny amount compared to some members.
