I'm still plodding along building routes....just keep being sidetracked by other things. This is the latest project; a conversion of an old BVE2 fictional route which was never released. At 70km long, the conversion will probably be released in stages - the first 35km blast featuring a special shuttle operation with just one intermediate station is nearing completion (one way only though).

Some of the scenery is a bit repetitive but as I did not want this to become just an object building exercise and running speeds are quite high, it's not too much of a problem. Some of the objects are borrowed and should be replaced before release.

The Devizes line is also not forgotten but needs a significant amount of work done on it to bring it up to a decent standard.

Route seems very interesting...where will it be set? Hopefully we can have something in the North West and maybe Wales, to allow for Class 175 usage. :)

The original inspiration for the route came from a time a few years back when I was travelling up the Midland Main Line, feeling quite bored with some of the scenery around (IIRC) Kettering - the route seemed to be continuously in cuttings or surrounded by trees and there was nothing to look at for what seemed like many miles.

In no way is this route modelled on the MML, just something that represents the 'not much to look at' view, something easily built. (Just what is needed at the start of a BVE coding 'career'.)
