is the fen line between kings lynn and ely and the emp between Peterborough at capacity or would there be space for a daily express service from Lynn to Peterborough and back (Mondays-Fridays peak hours?) the reason i ask this is because i run a daily express service from Lynn to Peterborough operated by LNER class 800 Bi mode trains in Train sim classic and was wondering if there would be enough demand for this service IRL?

Short answer, no.

The problem with going Kings Lynn to Peterborough via Ely is that you are doing two sides of a triangle. The bus is a better bet, if you don’t own a car.

A cl. 80x unit is also a very expensive way of providing any regional service!

Avoiding Ely station or otherwise, this is still a very indirect route between Lynn and Peterborough. You’re better served by the A47 road and Excel bus routes.
