Does anyone know where I can get hold of a copy of this BTF film featuring Peter Purves from 1982?

For a while it was available on You Tube, but apparently the BBC has objected to it and it has been taken down (not sure why its any of their business but still).

I think I have all the BFI DVD collections, but its not on there - is it included elsewhere?

The online video conversion doo dahs should let you convert
to AVI / MOV then you can download it.

I tried https://www.onlinevideoconverter.com/video-converter and it did create a sound file (I'm probably doing something wrong) so the video still exists - just not for us minions in the UK.

Alternatively use a VPN and set your country to France and you can watch it on youtube.

I don't know why the the BBC has anything to do with it. I shall have a look and see if I previously ripped it.

Is that the one where he travels on the APT?

There's something slightly Partridge-esque about the way he presents it - I find it really hard to take it seriously. I keep expecting him to say "A-HA!" at any moment.

That's the one! The music's awfull though, some synth would have been more suitable.

I have a copy I can send if you wish.

That'd be great, it's a fascinating film - it somehow rather awkwardly has a foot in the past and a foot in the future.

I've also got 20mins of the very rare APT-P Horizon episode of you wish? Much better viewing tbh.
