Rough riding Azuma

I travelled from Leeds to London and back to York yesterday and was treated to a really rough ride with drinks sloshing about in the glass.

I seem to remember that many years ago the Modern Railways test for smooth riding was to stand a £1 coin on edge without it falling over. I'm not sure the £1 coin would have stayed on the table yesterday.

No different to how they have always been. The ride has been appalling from day 1. For an intercity type train they are not fit for purpose. A pacer was less rough.

Azumas are infamous for their quality issues, one of them being ride quality.
