Rolling stock take overs

I was wandering when these rolling stock listed below gets withdrawn am im planning a trip for later this year does anyone when the class 365,313 171 SN,317 321 & 360 GA,319 & 323 WMR, 153,156 & 158 for EMR and finally 142 143 TFW roughly gets withdrawn/transferred

Sorry for the very broad question just wondering for where I go to photo stock this year any help would be much appreciated

For EMR the 153s will likely be withdrawn when the first 170s arrive and are in service. Only 3 are currently in use due to the current situation. The 156 and 158 will likely be around longer.

For updates and other companies it might be useful to look at the traction and rolling stock section.

Class 365? Don't know where you heard it from, but there's absolutely no plans for Great Northern to withdraw their 21 units. Otherwise there wouldn't be enough units for the peak services (ignoring the current reduced timetable).

Thank you for the reply I didn't mean that I knew they were being withdrawn I was asking how long they are remaining with GN for so I can focus on seeing other stock that is going sooner.

Right, that's just the way I read your question.

I'd say your priority ought to be the Pacers, Northern has withdrawn virtually all of theirs so it's only a matter of time before TfW's Pacers are gone too.

The Class 720s for Greater Anglia are still very much behind schedule so you'll have a bit of time this year to catch the BR EMUs. With the Class 360s heading over to EMR, that gives you a chance to also catch their diesels.

Unless you're desperate to see them in LNWR/WMT colours, Northern will be operating Class 323s and 769s (the bi-mode 319s) for the foreseeable future, so I wouldn't class that as a priority.

I also meant to add that Southern has no plans to replace their Class 313s at the present time, and they'll be keeping the Class 171s for now until a suitable replacement is identified.

In order of importance, I would say to head for Cardiff first, during the summer would be your best shot. After that, I would go to get 153s at EMR, you can get these at Doncaster and Peterborough indefinitely, Crewe also. Then, I would go to see 317s and 321s. 317s are very common on the West Anglian main line, I would recommend Tottenham Hale and Cheshunt for those. 321s are on Liverpool Street-Braintree/Southend services, Shenfield is a rather nice place to see those, between 2 and 5pm is good as you see more 12 car services, plus whilst you're there you'll see 360s although they're not going too soon. After that you have plenty of time for the others, 171s and 313s aren't going anywhere, 365s are only on peak services and weekend services, these are on Kings Cross to Peterborough services mostly. 156s and 158s will remain with EMR, 158s can also be found at Peterborough and I only seem to see 156s in the Nottingham area. And finally 319s and 321s are staying for at least a year, I don't know whether 350/4s will replace 319s but if you want to see them they are on the St Albans Abbey branch plus on peak services out of Euston, see frequently requested diagrams for these!
