Are any of those 221s? I thought that the NewcastleReading/Soton was always 220s (it's certainly the lowest priority of the four XC Vogager routes, capacity-wise).
Nevertheless, a 450 to Cosham.

I have seen and been on a 221 starting at Southampton, it might of been to Newcastle, or it might have been to Glasgow on a Sunday.

Tbh I had no idea what rolling stock would turn up on that; I didn't even know whether it would be an EMU!

I'm not 100% sure whether that classes as a parliamentary train or not because theres a direct trains from Walsall to Wolves that runs via New Street every 30 minutes in the regular timetable. But I'm not sure if that would legaly be classed as the same service as the regualr direct train the finished in 2008, even though the terminus points are the same.
That train is deffinatly run by a 323 becuase it's formed from the 18:47 New Street to Walsall stopper.
It might just be something to do with stock movements so that a 323 can have an easy way of getting to Oxley sidings without having to run via New Street.
