They definitely don't! Luckily, Scotrail have two different subclasses of Class 158...

Class 158/8 to Thurso

All the 158/8s belong to South West Trains, so one of them on the Far North line is about as likely as a 9F rescuing a failed Pendolino. <D

backontrack is right. The only 158s that SWT own are 158880-158889 (889 is now with EMT anyway). So moving on, 158/7 to Inverness.

class 220 to Filton Abbey Wood (0700 Cardiff Central - Manchester Piccadilly, and about as far as I could stomach on a 'vileger')
