Class 165 to Quainton Road

Edit: wait sorry I forgot the 121s are retired so nothing but 165s go there anymore do they.

No they dont ;)

It’s only served on Bank Holiday Mondays by an hourly service to Aylesbury. Used to always be a 121 (while the other one did the Princes Risborough shuttle) but 165s are used now.

172s don't operate the route via Amersham ;)

They do sometimes I’ve seen them but only as a six car train in peak times in the middle of two 165 units as all services on the line are required to have trip cocks.
I didn't know that they did that; I thought they were banned from the route

You aren’t far off, they are purely prohibited from working on the route on their own due to lack of tripcocks.

Class 165 to Aylesbury Vale Parkway
