Roller Blinds and mechanisms

As the march of LED screens rolls on, does anyone know what happens to roller blinds and or mechanisms? I have E-Mailed Lothian Buses about buying a mechanism, but have not received a reply apart from the standard 'We will let you know'. I'm certain there are plenty folk who would buy them, given the chance. Please don't tell me they have all been scrapped as that would be criminal in my opinion..

Go to bus scrap yards .You can get one there for next to nothing .They normally just bin them .
