Hi Guys,

I'm planning on travelling from Rochester [RTR] in Kent to Liverpool Lime Street [LIV] on Sunday 30th June. Im flying out of John Lennon Airport at 18:40 so will need to get to LIV at about 4:30pm at the latest however my start time is flexible. I have a Network Railcard. I checked the National Rail Website and got the following Itinery for £33.00

08:48 Rochester [RTR] London Victoria [VIC] 09:29
10:15 London Euston [EUS] Liverpool Lime Street [LIV] 13:12

Can anyone suggest a split ticket solution that takes advantage of my network railcard? Many Thanks

It's not a bad price tbh. You aren't paying much for the connection from Rochester, and the train to Liverpool doesn't stop till Nuneaton, so no real split there.

Are you not returning at any point?

If it's strictly one way, it's unlikely to be even worth trying to split.

The £33.50 tier appears to have just sold out, so the price is now £41.50

Can be done for £13:05 for the Rochester - St.Pancras bit
.....and £17 for the Euston - Liverpool bit on LM only involving a longer journey with a change at Stafford but on a train that stops at South Parkway which is closer to the airport.

Thanks for all your help guys. I might see about doing a return journey which might turn out cheaper in the long run.
