With the growth in the area since the station closure in 1964,do you think it would be worth reopening the station?The platforms are still in situ & there are plans to open an international freight terminal nearby.

Its a small place in all honesty, maybe an hourly service on the slow line would be possible.

First ive heard of that one, Rugby Parkway is the only one that is a serious proposal round that way.

There's definitely more pressing places in Northants. Desborough, Rushden/Irchester. If HS2 was in France, Brackley/South Northants would've almost certainly got a station.

Can I correct you in saying that the platforms at Roade were demolished many years ago.
Are you getting confused with Castlethorpe of which (when I last passed about a year ago) three of the four platforms were still in situ albeit in poor condition.
Both Roade and Castlethorpe are small settlements and I agree with LeeLivery that compared with other larger places through which trains pass which lost their stations many years ago.
