Checking test and a test where you get a mock route map with about 3 lines and 10 stations and a mock timetable and you are asked questions about trains services and what time you’d arrive in places

I don’t remember of any mathematical questions. If there were any they weren’t difficult.

A checking test is where you are read out a series of numbers, letters, or both and you have to select correctly what you heard from 4 options that all look similar

For example at the start they might say 1583, and you’ll be given the options

1538
1358
1583
5813

But towards the end it will be longer with both numbers and letters. You only have a limited amount of time before the next question is read out.

Dont stress too much I did this exact assessment and everyone else who took it passed

I passed assessment day in Southampton and had a interview in Bournemouth the next day for Ro2 Swr.
