So I lived just off the former RNPF/RAF (now MoD) Caerwent which is now a training area.
Back in circa 2002 locals were invited to drive round the base and view the lost villages etc. I remember there being a shunter in a shed. Does anyone know it's identity and who left it there?
I'm assuming the Yanks left it behind in the nineties when they removed their conventional and nuclear munitions, is this correct and if not who owned it?
