Rishton to London Permittied Routes

I may be attending the playoff final at the end of May, travelling on the Sunday returning on the Tuesday on an off peak return. Would the following be allowed starting sort at Chorley and going via Manchester to London, returning to Preston and then on to Rishton.

That's absolutely fine. Rishton-London off-peak returns allow break of journey (many of the longer distance ones Virgin price, such as Lancaster-London, do not).

Rishton-Preston-Chorley-Manchester-London is a perfectly valid route for the ticket, as is London-Warrington-Preston-Rishton.
