Anybody having issues with this? Keeps dropping wi-fi and having to switch the battery. Never had this issue last year. No changes to my wi-do. Can’t even log into the ring forums tonight either. Seems others having the issue on that forum. If it keeps up May have to switch to an alternative door bell. Anybody else had this issue?

Could you explain a bit more. Have you got a doorbell that uses wifi, or is it a dedicated wireless connection like mine? If wi-fi then what does the wifi allow you to do?

No mine is fine, are you sure your wifi is unchanged? How is the signal strength where the ring is?

Does the current one need survive removal ? You might be able to destroy the case and access the screws.

Should be some security screws underneath holding it in, you need the right tool to remove them though.

Got it off. I assume I can just keep the same screws for ring door bell 4 to make it easier to screw back in? Says in set up wrong screws is a fire risk so easier to use same ones?I assume that’s just for face plate?

Does the power need shut off to install new one? Or is it ok if it’s battery?
