Today I went to Lincolnshire Coast Light Railway had great day, chap was chat to me about different things happen on LCLR and he let me go in works shed to look around rolling stock.
He said one locomotive 'Elin' Hunslet 0-4-0ST 1899 No.705 ex-Penrhyn Quarry went to Yaxham Light Railway then now at the Richmond Light Railway he said I should recommend to visit one day. I came home & look on website to see where it is but not much detail and no website because it is private own land open to public once a year raising for charity's. I am interest to visit but has anyone know contact to them for next events and whereabouts it is in Headcorn?

This year's Open Day has just happened (I've seen pics on FB). I wasn't there this year but went last year, having heard through Narrow Gauge Railway Society.

I see that the Narrow Gauge Railway Society are taking bookings (with a closing date of 15 June) for a visit to the Richmond Light Railway's 2017 Open Day on 19 August 2017.

Information about a 2018 Open Day has appeared:-

Our annual Charity Summer Steam Fair will be held on Saturday August 18th from 11am through to 4.30pm.

The railway will be running 4 of its steam engines with a 5th surprise visitor, together with a number of steam traction engines and vintage tractors together with children’s games. The station café will be serving a selection of homemade food and drink (including local award winning BEARDspoon cider!).

Tickets are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for children.
All tickets must be pre-purchased and are not available on the day.

All profits from the 2018 event will go to Riding for the Disabled.
