RH&DR Santa Special Preparations

Hi folks,

I've uploaded a few shots from the early morning preparations for the Santa Specials at the Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway. It was a pretty grey morning and didn't get chance to shoot later on in the day as it was a case of all hands to the pumps :-P

As always.... Comments and thoughts, points of technique, etc, etc are always most welcome!!

Hi Giz, no I hadn't and I can't believe somebody nominated me... whoever it was.. you are very kind :-P

I think I've probably said it before... I take photos because I love taking pictures and pushing myself to improve every time I pic up the camera. Couple that with my love of trains, and more importantly my passion for the RH&DR and it gives me good reason to get out and about and shoot more :)

If any of you visit the RH&DR next year, keep an eye out for me... I will be training in the signalbox at Hythe for some of it.. Come over and say hi. Likewise, if you see me around London on a platform carrying wayyyy to much equipment then come and say hi :)

Coxster... as I suspect you live not too far away from me (I live just south of Guildford), keep an eye out for a bloke with a big cheesy grin on a blue Vespa GTS125 :)
