An excellent weekend was spent working at Dymchurch and New Romney on the Romney Hythe & Dymchurch Railway on the 10th and 11th May. The railway held their 1940's and Home Guard Gala on these days which proved to be a very successful event.
All available locos were in use, inlcuding:
No2 'Northern Chief'
No3 'Southern Maid'
No5 'Hercules'
No6 'Samson'
No7 'Typhoon'
No8 'Hurricane'
No9 'Winston Churchill' and
No11 'Black Prince'
There were also many vintage vehicles on display.
