Today there was a revenue protection inspection at Lewisham (DLR) station’s flat exit. (The effectiveness was minimal as several passengers pushed past and there were no RPIs on the other two exits. But that’s another thread...)
The location of the RPIs was such that they inspected cards and tickets after passengers touched out. This is broadly irrelevant for Oyster users, but surely someone using contactless would then be “out of the system” when the touches are reconciled at the end of the day and wind up with a maximum fare?
