If it is true from the LHCS mk3 coaching stock thread that on Tuesday 26th April 2022 mk3 coaches are going for scrap what coaches will retro rail tours use for the charters this year. Especially as the coaches at Castle Donnington have been used by them last year. On a few occasions.

They presumably will have to go back to Riviera for their rolling stock needs if ROG are no longer in that business.

It would never have been viable for ROG (or anyone else) to maintain a set of coaches for one railtour a year. I imagine it is only just viable for Riviera to maintain most of their stock for the frequency of outings it gets.

Fair point. Unless rail operations group have required a few more ex abeillo Anglia mk3 coaches maybe? and its the ex tfw mk3 coaches that are going for scrap then. Maybe rail operations group have realised the later purchases of the abeillo Anglia mk3 coaches was more disabilitie compliant than the tfw mk3 ones. However only time will tell. Because in mid may the retro rail tours to Barrow Hill ale house special trains are running ie 13 14 15 may 2022. So interesting to see what these tours Retro rail Tours will use.
