Retro Oldham Loop & Cumbrian Coast Tour

Rather than continuing the old Retro Avon Grid thread, I've started a new thread for our 29th August 'Retro Oldham Loop & Cumbrian Coast', from Huddersfield up to Carlisle.

Come along, and support a good cause while you're at it, as we are again supporting the West Yorkshire Forget me Not Trust!

As usual, Real Ale and food will be available, and looking at the positive response so far, it's looking like it'll be a sound day out.

I am hoping for a good turnout by Railforums members as with the Avon Grid tour!

Shame I'm on holiday for this! I haven't bashed 20s on the mainline before, and the price is very reasonable!

Hoping madly to be able to do it, however I get the feeling that this time I'll be missing out as I have more bills going out now than ever.

All being well, I'll be there as I've yet to have a 20 on the mainline and there's plenty of required track for me. Even if it means not going cranking in the meantime...

Bring it on I say, the Retro Avon Grid was brilliant on the leg I did (sadly not the best one!), I have no doubt this one will be too!
