Retirees London Transport pass

My father, now in his 80's, worked for London Transport and received his retirees pass.

He knows he can't use LM trains from Watford Jct. (Not sure about London Overground).
From Amersham, can he use Chiltern trains to Marylebone or does he need to wait for a Met train into London?

The quick answer is that he can use Chiltern or the Met (and he can use LM from Watford Junction - it's Freedom Passes that have more limited availability), but he should really have been sent a full list of conditions with the card. TfL Staff Travel on 0800 0155 073 should be able to provide one.

It's valid on all LUL, DLR, Overground, London Tramlink and TfL Bus services. Plus:

Amersham to Marylebone
Kentish Tn to Elephant/London Bridge
Upminster to Fenchurch St
Stratford to Liv St
Finsbury Pk to Moorgate
Watford Jcn to Euston

Depending on the exact dates he may also have validity on former London Country bus routes (pre-0930 as presumably he'll have an ENTCS pass for afterwards anyway).

Thanks guys for your advice.
He started on LT green buses 1959, then London Country, finally Arriva until 1999. He spent all the 40 years at Hemel Hempstead bus garage (two Waters). He has a pocket full of free passes.

ENCTS passes are valid for travel on Greenline buses after 0930

Although not all former London Country bus services are branded as "Greenline" nowadays.

And never were. It was always a distinct brand for "express" services.
