I have finally found the working location for the Forum in Hatfield which has a ticket machine but I never knew where the tickets were issued from as have never used it (HERTS UNI&BUSNPK, J631) but I was wondering whether there is any restriction to the bus part.
Taking the CDR to London Terminals (£12) it has restriction Y4. This has the outward restriction (from Hatfield, as the route is HATFIELD UNO BUS) as the first valid train being at 0928. Just to explain, this ticket would be issued from the bus station at the University of Herts campus and then the person would catch the bus to Hatfield and catch the train.
Does any restriction apply to when the user would get the bus to the station in theory? There are a number of similar bus link tickets which I have wondered.
Is there: (ranked in order of which would be most likely first)
a) No restriction? (so I could catch the bus to the station really early, then hang around for a while)
b) The last bus that would get them to the station in reasonable time to catch the first train?
c) The first bus leaving at/after 0928
Of course, this is all theoretical, as Uno drivers would probably either just accept it or just reject it! :P
