Restriction Code SA on weekends

I'm planning to go to Folkestone on Saturday and I have bought tickets from NBT via STP to FKC/FKW (2x Advance Singles with restriction code SA, each covering the whole journey each way). Just now, I came across some itinerary that would require me to catch the 0807 from STP instead of the 0907 I have already booked. The National Rail website says the restrictions for code SA only applies Mondays to Fridays. I have seen posts that suggest, if travelling on weekends + Bank Holidays, you can catch any train at any time within the same route on the day, but I'm still unsure whether that's true or not.

Here's the exact ticket type FYI: https://www.brfares.com/!faredetail...xpert=on&flow=0&multi=0&fare=11&ldn=1&tkt=SM7

Gosh, that is clumsily written.

My interpretation is that restriction code SA does NOT apply on a Saturday BUT you are trapped by the validity section which states Booked Train only (as it says that the code is a restriction in addition to the restrictions placed by validity)

The current fares structure needs scrapping and starting again!

please can you edit your post to give the sakes of the stations. I know where these stations are but many forum members won’t.

The ticket you’ve bought is an Advance ticket and consequently you must travel on the booked trains only. It is not a flexible ticket.
