I can think of Fort William (fully) and Mytholmroyd (partially) as definite; plus I think Stourbridge Town, Redditch and Alvechurch.

Rotherham Central is due in the future, but are there any more I'm missing?

There are quite a few where branch lines have been shortened and a new platform has been constructed to allow for redevlopment of the original station site.

Sudbury, St Ives and Looe all spring immeidately to mind. Then there's Sheringham, although the station site was not redeveloped as such!

I'm fairly sure Duncraig on the Kyle line has been moved, and Attadale I think.

Mind you parts of that line have been moved by mother nature!

Smethwick Galton Bridge springs to mind.

Not really. Smethwick Galton Bridge (on both lines) opened as new in 1995 and then a year later Smethwick West (on the Stourbridge line) closed, with the two coexisting for a while; I'd say it was a different station in the manner of Brightside/Meadowhall (which also coexisted for a time).

A good one is Dorchester South; it took over a century to fix the fact that the station wasn't quite on the line it was served by.

Basically, the LSWR mainline was meant to continue towards Honiton, but when this fell through instead a chord was connected to the GWR's Weymouth line. The chord had to be put in such a way that Dorchester LSWR station ended up on a tiny spur a couple hundred yards long. After about 25 years (in the 1870s) platform 2 was moved to be on the line, but platform 1 was still on the spur, meaning northbound trains had to roll back into the platform from the line. This wasn't fixed till the 1970s, when the spur was torn up and platform 1 moved to its rightful place on the line.

Polegate and Crawley have both moved along their lines (leaving grassed over platforms). Folkestone Central has actually moved across the route rather than along it. The current down line was only added as a loop during the 1961 rebuild, whilst the current up line was originally the down main.
